1in12 Veterans
The club managed to get a 25 over game played against CAMRA yesterday despite the awful early afternoon weather. We posted a total of 104 for 8 with some good partnerships lower down the order. The pick was newly imported Australian professional Richard Hallowes who scored 36 not out in his magic hat. After a tidy start with the ball, we let CAMRA get back into the game with some poor catching (my hand hurts) and they struck the winning blow via Kas' head with one ball (and a couple of wickets) to spare. Neil and Nogs deserve a mention for tidy bowling upfront and hats off to Kilvo for braving the last over.
